Submissions Update
Hey Everyone,
The submissions keep pouring in for involvement on the Nexus animated series, which is encouraging. It's obvious that traditional or "2-D" is hardly not the lost art that many insist it is. So many of you want to be involved with a traditionally run project , which is precisely what the Nexus animated series is all about--to return to something done merely with paper and pencil. In the meantime, here's how we're dealing with things:
The first order is to organize the large amount of submissions so nothing gets lost or misplaced. We've done that by having a sep. folder for each applicant. After looking at the work you've sent, we divide you into the category you've requested or what we think you're most suited for.
Whether it be layout, animation, boards, directing, voice talent or whatever else needed to make this happen, it will stay organized.
As mentioned, the core group will be composed of a select team of the very best, and from there freelance talent will be considered.
More updates as things progress,
Steve Rude
