Superman and Police Academy 3 Double-sided Study

Steve painted both sides of this sheet in early 2023 while testing ink, colored pencil and opaque watercolor, and he left notes on what worked.

On the front (Jan. 2023): a Superman torso and leg, a pair of running legs Steve marked "really like this," and a man in a bow tie done in gray tones.

On the back (Feb. 2023): Moses Hightower (Bubba Smith) in his blond wig, studied from Drew Struzan's 1986 Police Academy 3 poster art, plus a boot, an arm and a big fist, each with Steve's verdict, like "this did work."
